Dr. Omer Haroon is a board-certified psychiatrist with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of mental health. He completed his residency training in New York City at prestigious institutions such as Creedmoor Psychiatric Center and Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Haroon has a strong commitment to medical education, having served as a Behavioral Science Theme Leader and Associate Clerkship Director at Albany Medical College in Upstate New York.

Currently, Dr. Haroon works with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, where he specializes in treating individuals on the acute inpatient and forensic psychiatric units. In addition to his clinical work, he is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at George Washington University School of Medicine, where he trains medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Haroon's extensive training and experience make him uniquely qualified to provide compassionate and effective care to individuals dealing with mental health challenges. He is passionate about using evidence-based treatment modalities to help his patients achieve optimal well-being and improved quality of life.
